Wow! Our first time to Hedo II and thought it was great. Long bus ride
from MoBay to Negril, and the rest stop for a $3.00 cola didn't impress
us at all. Check-in was fairly quick and we got a great room as we had
asked for. First night ...Toga Party! After agonizing on how to wear the
sheet that was left in the room, I finally just threw it on somehow and
went into the dining room. What was I worried about? There were a lot of
people barely covered, so my modesty was unwarranted. Went Scuba Diving,
laid on the beach and spent quite a bit of time at the nude beach &
pool. Was a little turned off by some of the sexual activity in the
nude pool. Would have rather those folks took it back to their room or
went someplace a bit more private (If I want Porn, I'll rent a tape!).
Otherwise I felt comfortable. The quality/consistancy of the drinks
varied by bar & sometimes we had to wait a while to get served.
Food was good, plentiful, interesting and well prepared. We felt
Pastifari's food was a bit better than the buffet but not really worth
the wait unless you want a quieter atmosphere. The staff was fantastic!
Never had any trouble getting our needs met and found the entire staff
to be helpful and friendly. The overall atmosphere and culture of Hedo
II made for a great week for Melany and I. We rekindled some passions we
thought we'd lost and thoroughly enjoyed being "naughty" for a week.
No real complaints except for the constant barrage of drug dealers
along the beach trying to push stuff on us. Lot's to see, lot's to do
and a great value for any couple looking to "let go" and loosen up a
bit.
