Hello, Just got back last week from our 1st. trip. Wow. I don't know if we mean that good or bad, just VERY different. Got to airport early at DFW, best check in ever. Got the seats we wanted & didn't wait. Long flight but got to airport & bought really not good beer. Yes we took the bus ride from HELL. Sorta was. It was raining & bus driver drove FAST. Weird. Along the way, Jamaican started running beside the bus selling what I thought looked liked sausage on a stick but shows how hungry I was, it was ganja. Got to Hedo & took forever to check in. Lots of paperwork. Oops, wrong room, prude side & we paid for nude. No problem, was change right there on request. Got a drink on way to room but lunch in dinning room was gone. HUNGRY. Went to room & change into bathing suits that we would NEVER use again there. Worried about being too fat, please don't worry about that. I have never seen as many people in different sizes. I who have NEVER taken anything off, (teach school you know) stripped within the first 5 minutes. My dear soon to be husband made a bee line for the drug boat. Security & everyoine else yelling at me about him getting arrested so I really for the 1st. time worried about it. NO problem , just like they say in Jamaica. Very, Very Strong Drugs, watch out. Stayed on beach for awhile then went to pool to drink. No matter what anybody tells you, please be prepared for the sex. YES, it's there. First dinner that night was excellent or we were very hungry. Very tired so we went on to bed. Got up early and breakfast was very ordinary for all-inclusive. Laided on the platforms in the ocean & then got the 18 ft. catamaran. FUN, FUN, FUN. but lost my shirt when I took it off to sunbath in the nude. Oh well. One less shirt at hedo. Dinner that night was NOT good. maybe just not my kind of food. On the Way back to the room to put on our pajamas (sexy, Oh My yes) I fell off the sidewalk, (no I had nothing to drink before then because I planned on drinking BIG time at the pajama party) Cried through the 1st 30 minutes when I finally reaized I was reallly hurt. Hobbled back to the room. (VERY PAINFUL). Next morning, we paid the nurse a visit, she immediatly callled the doctor who wanted to go back to Montego Bay to the Hospital.*(NO NO NO) no Hell ride back. Doctor gave WONDERFUL pain killers. I really thought I was ok. Stayed in room rest of the afternoon & slept from painkillers. Jack, my sweetheart went & got me lunch that day. Bound & determined that I'm getting out of bed, broken foot & all, we head out to sit outside the room on the nude beach after the nurse got our room changed to downstairs. Wed. was Las Vegas night, didn't think we were dressed until we saw everyone else. Someone needs to change on this Website that Wed. is Las Vegas Night. In pain & went to bed. Thursday Morning is our Wedding. Determined not to walk on crutches & I didn"t with the nurse staring at me with no crutches. PAIN KILLERS really working this day because I LAUGHED through the whole ceremony, the preacher had to stop lots of times. Yes, we're richer on Mondays & poorer on Fridays, Yes we're for better away from home & worse at home, my husband has a strange name that sounds like Ellie May & I thought of Ellie May Clampitt from the Beverly Hillbillies. Finally went on my shopping trip today. The cab driver stayed with us the whole time. Not cheap but with my foot, really appreicated. Toga party, Finally Fun weird, different FUN. Next morning, leaving.. Other people going to DFW. want to catch the flight back that we booked from Negril but already booked. LOng wait but worth it. Tiny plane & pilot looked liked JFK JR. but not bad for 15 minutes. Can't say we will ever be back to Hedo but the MOST different vacation I have ever had. Can't say it was the most fun but so different that it was different. The people who work there are either cold or hot./ Shaka ( oh Man Hot) Delroy bar (no VERY cold) & YES to Melanie, Maria & PAUL) oh yes Paul.
