March 14-21
This was our third visit to Hedonism II. We missed last year, but we were determined to return this year even if it was not the third week in January, which we prefer.
I will avoid describing our travel to Negril except to say we took the plane from Montego Bay to Negril for the first time because we were in a rush to get settled. It was good experience and it satisfied our need to start the fun.
Our room was conveniently located by the hot tub. We were taken in by the new pool, swim up bar and the waterfalls. They had done a terrific job with the renovations on the nude beach side. We can only say, BRAVO!
The phone in the rooms were okay, but we prefer to avoid contact with the outside world so the phone addition was okay, but we didn't miss when it was not in the room. The CD player was a surprise addition, but we spent so little time in the room we were unable to enjoy it.
We found the hot tub at night as we remembered it. Several couples copulating, several girls performing fallatio; and, of course, the mainstay BJ. Indeed, the perennial single guys were en masse staring and doing who knows what. Things started about 1 a.m. and reached a peak about 3 a.m.
Delroy was his usual self , but we missed his old wooden digs. I sensed that he did too.
The entertainment had not changed. The Toga party and the misnamed pajama party were dull. Elvis performed and the rest of the entertainment continues to exist.
Meeting people who are fun and with the same mind set is what makes this place an adult Disney World. You can go as far as you want or you can just stand in line wishing that you were on the ride.
This was spring break weekend and as usual there were more single males than females. Many of these yutes (youths) would mill around the nude beach dressed while the so called security did nothing. When I walked to the prude side in the buff, I was asked to dress or leave. Hedo needs to be more even handed with the rules as it was uncomfortable being stared at by half hard college kids. Many appeared to be under 18.
My suggestion is, if you can help it, do not go to Hedo during the spring break weeks. The resort must do more to maintain the rule integrity of the nude beach.
Enough said! We still had a great time and we found what we were looking for and recaptured many of the playful times we remembered from our previous visits.
We took the bus back to the airport...trying to hold on to the great week we had.
We have booked next January.
