Vince & Princess Lee - 04/99

Adventures at Hedo, 1999-04-10 to 1999-04-18.

This was our second trip to Hedo. The first was during nude week, September 1998.

The flight down from Philadelphia to Monteago Bay, on Air Jamaica, was normal. Minor delay, then the three-hour nap, then the arrival and a very long wait to get through customs. Note; fly during the week, less of a jam up at customs.

Short hop on Tim’s Air to Negril, cool experience. We were the only two people, other than the pilot, on the aircraft. It was a very small plane. I sat up front with the pilot and offered my services as co-pilot. The caption quickly told me that his only co-pilot was Jack Daniels and not to touch anything. We like the short shuttle to Negril. We are in a hurry to get there and feel the cost is justified.

Check in was a little of a hassle but no big deal. We heard some folks were getting bumped, to Point Village, but it was only for the night.

Our room, 2276, ocean view nude, second floor, three rooms from the hot tub, no problem with the hot tube noise. But we could hear the Disco, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, all night long. Shower adventure, we soon learned to take cool showers. Whenever anyone flushed the toilets, we were splashed with scalding water.

Note, the Jamaican sun is hot. We used sun block every day but still got burned. I used 30 and the princess used 15, it wasn’t strong enough to keep from getting a somewhat troublesome sunburn.

We went on the catamaran cruise Tuesday to the pickled Parrot. Great time, went snorkeling along the reef. I took some bread that I put into plastic bags with me. I released it on the water and was rewarded by a group of fish swimming all around me attacking the bread. I had a one time waterproof camera with me and have some great shots of the fish feeding. Big deal to me, I enjoyed it. Dove from the cliffs at the Pickled Parrot, very exciting. The water slide was a bust for me; I couldn’t get enough speed to make it exciting. Rasta Ralphie, entertained, it was nice. The Princess got a foot massage from Steve, I think she’s in love. Cost 20 dollars, it made her happy, and she deserves it. Over all, we had a blast. Our pirate flag that we gave them last September was missing. We were told that after our cruise they quickly took it down. They said it brought them too much bad luck. Oh well --- I’ll be a pirate in my mind, ARRRGH THAR MATTIES!!!!!!! SHIVER ME TIMBERS!!!!!!!

Missed PJ night, AGAIN, slept though it. Oh well, maybe this December, we’ll try again. Toga night, got our togas on, but I was suffering from a servere toothache, and the princess and I were getting on each other’s nerves so we made it a very early evening.

The circus was great Friday and the beach party was a lot of fun. I was on one of the teams having a blast until ‘E’ asked if it was all right to tape the event for broadcast in June.

My thoughts on the filming of activities at Hedo, for broadcast. I’m not ashamed of going to Hedo. I’m not ashamed of being nude on a beach, even though I’m overweight and many may think that I shouldn’t be nude in a shower. I’m not ashamed of being over 50 and when I jump to play volleyball, my hands hardly reach the top of the net. I will continue to do all of these things as long as I’m able. I enjoy my privacy. I keep my work life and my personal life very separate. I don’t socialize with the people who work for and with me. It may be a little difficult running a department when the hard-body twenty year old technicians have the visual picture of me and the princess, naked on a beach with a couple hundred people around us all enjoying ourselves. Also I don’t want my grandsons going to school and telling their classmates to watch grandma & grandpa on TV, on a nude vacation.

Swinger, we are not swingers, swinger do not offend us, we are happy for them that they can enjoy having sex with others. Our observation was that there were more swinger, here this April than there were during nude week in September. We just declined, not meaning to offend anyone, but in two cases, those asking didn’t speak to us the rest of the time there. There were more situations were one partner wanted to get into the swinging lifestyle without the other partner being aware that the ‘spontaneous event’ was long planned in advance. This seems like it could cause some problems.

Public displays of affection, it’s there. It’s on the beach, in the hot tub, in the TV room. It happens on a raft in the pool. On a raft in the lagoon, in other words it’s there. There was a very attractive young lady who could not keep her hands off her partner’s penis. If it offends you, don’t look. The princess and I, found it very romantic to make love on the grass by the bird aviary, very late in the evening. We found it very secluded and were not aware that anyone was watching us. If they were, I hope they had as good a time as we did.

Single guys, most were nice and polite. There were also a few jerks, expecting some sort of sexual Olympics. I think they were very disappointed. We had fun teasing a group of them at Veronica’s one night. We found out they were from the Philadelphia area like us. We told them that if anyone from Philly new they were at Hedo, singing the way they were, they wouldn’t be allow at a Flyers game ever again. We all got a laugh at that and they continued to enjoy themselves. The single girls looked like they were enjoying themselves, having a great time, and enjoyed the pick of the litter of the single guys.

On this trip I noticed a bit more friction between the quests, and the guests and staff, than I did in September. It’s definitely not a problem, but I did notice it. Maybe, I was more aware of it because of the toothache, and I let little things get to me that I normally would not have noticed. Again I’ll have to compare when we return in December. Taking pictures of other quest seem to be the cause of some problems. If I’m taking a picture of the princess or something that interest me, and someone gets into the frame, I’m not going to get upset about it. If they do, that will be their problem. I’m not happy at the thought that pictures of the princess may appear on the net. But I can’t live in fear of it either. When I notice someone taking a picture that obviously includes the princess, I half jokingly say, "I’m not going to see that on the Internet, am I?" The pictures I take are for my enjoyment and to remember a special time or event. I’m not going to give up that pleasure because someone may get upset. I don’t intentionally take picture of others, at Hedo, where they can be recognized.

The staff was as friendly as we remembered. Conroy is the man, always pleasant with an impish smile, Tamara and Marie very beautiful and friendly. Shaka our friend from September was no longer there. We were told she eloped with ‘one of you people’, meaning a quest.

Butt Crack Tour; we’ve read some complaints about these folks. They didn’t bother us. I thought they were cute. But everyone has his or her opinion. For the last three days of our stay, we tried to keep out of the sun. We found a spot just beyond the volleyball court by the massage shack. I pulled over a hammock and a lounge for the princess by the picnic table, a great spot. The princess read and I listen to my audio tapes, dozing off quite a bit. The Motrin pain killers and the over proof rum had the responsibility for causing that. And more that a few times the chatter and noise from the Butt Crack Tour group woke me. If the nude beach is to be a completely nude beach, lets ask Hedo to provide armed security persons. Station them by the volley ball court and have any clothed quests detained at the border, being forced to disrobe. Question them on their reason for daring to cross the border, make them show their identification papers, search them for contraband, then throw them into the dungeon and after making sure they are not subversives, deport them to the prude side, never again to see the sights of a nude person on the beach at Hedo. Or let’s just not worry about it and enjoy ourselves, that’s what the princess and I do. I noticed many clothed persons pass by the princess and steal a glance at her. She is a very attractive woman and I took it as a compliment.

Things that bring a smile to my face. Having a stranger ask if you need help applying sun screen. Watching Sheri and Rick’s wedding, we wish happiness to you both. Walking around a building and seeing a beautiful woman wearing only a smile coming toward you and wishing you a good day. Watching the princess smile as see slyly glances at the 20 something year old buff stud as he walks buy us naked. Taking a shower by the massage shack and seeing a beautiful woman, other than my wife, rinsing off in the shower next to you. Floating on a raft in the lagoon holding hands with the princess. Dancing all night like new lovers on the beach or dining room with my princess. Seeing so many people behaving like new lovers, enjoying themselves in a warm Jamaican paradise.

These are my opinions and observations. May your adventure be as exciting as ours was.
