Randy & Denise - 04/99

TRIP REPORT
APRIL 13 - 20

DENISE & RANDY

I’m not sure, at this point, what we did on which days, but I will try to get the highlights down in some comprehensible order. We arrived Tuesday on the bus with two other couples and darling Diego, who seemed to speak no english, was not aware that drinks and food were free, and was not aware of the nudity factor. I’m sure that he had pleasant surprise. Whenever we saw him throughout the week, he just looked so thrilled!

Day 1: Check-in was a nightmare, or maybe it just seemed worse than it was due to having been traveling for many, many hours. Never again will I book a connecting flight, no matter how cheap it is! Well, we finally got a room, but no luggage. I tried to just take my bag and go, but they said that someone would bring it. This worked out well, however, as I had been nervous about being nude in public, but with our room on the nude oceanview section, I knew I would eventually have to just do it. Well, it took about five minutes. We got to our room, fully dressed in (very hot) long jeans, and as I sat looking out the window at the happy naked people, each with a drink in their hand (some with a drink in each hand), I just said "F--k it. Let’s go" and that was that!!!! As a matter of fact, I was so into it, that that night I won "sexiest" in the PJ party! Randy won third place in something (funkiest? funniest? I didn’t catch it) with his cowboy outfit! What a way to start a vacation.

Days 2 through 7 are all mixed up. So that’s that for a chronological report. My boyfriend (aka "boy scout") kept me very busy the first few days. We did the flying trapeze! My first time, I was sooooo scared, I was screaming - get me down, I changed my mind, I can’t do it. But I did it and was never so scared in my whole life. Back on terra firma, I shook for a good half hour. Then Vladimir, wonderful Vladimir, with his beautiful brown eyes and soft voice, encouraged, cajoled, promised to take care of me, etc., I think he hypnotized me because not only did I try it again, but I think I would have done whatever he told me at that point. He was great, as were all of the circus people. I ended up doing it four times, but never worked up to getting caught. I regret that, because I think getting up there is the worst part, getting caught is the pay-off. Oh well. Randy did quite a bit more, but he was a gymnast in college, and is a NYC firefighter, so is in much better shape then I. He did end up with bruises across his legs from a bad flip, though, and I had bruises behind my knees. First injury.

I waterskied for the first time in my life (and maybe the last). The first try was good, but I fell. The second try, I fell but didn’t let go quick enough and got whipped across my legs with the handlebar. Yeah, that was me, with the bruises. The third try was half-hearted because of the pain in my legs. Second injury. OK, check waterskiing off my list. Another time, I tried to learn windsurfing. Randy went straight out, I took a lesson first. I did really, really good, got right up, learned to turn, etc. The next day, I wanted him to see how good I did, and we headed out. I was in the water maybe three minutes when I got bit by something. I had two little fang marks in my toe and it STUNG! I was sent to the nurse, who sprayed it with something to stop the stinging. Check windsurfing off my list. Third injury, I’m out. The rest of the week, I’m sitting by the pool or by the ocean or by the bar. As long as I am sitting. The bruises were an interesting ice breaker though. They certainly did attract attention. It’s funny, because the bruises across each of our legs almost matched (but mine being much darker); sometimes when someone would ask how did we get our bruises, I replied that "we were f----ing sooo hard….." Oh well, I guess you had to be there.

The nude catamaran cruise was GREAT! Rum punch for breakfast, snorkleing, foot (plus) massage by a gorgeous, muscular native, We jumped off the cliff, then swam into a cave for some romantic smooching while the waves broke upon our clenched bodies….. Then someone else came in and notice that there were bats in there! OK, see you later, I’m back to the boat. Quite a bit of activity in the front of the boat! Alas, I’m still too shy.

Met great people, had a lot of fun overall. Even naked, though, I felt overdressed! Over the course of the week, my already neatly trimmed bush got smaller and smaller till it was just a puff! The pool area and hot tub were great. It was just so comfortable. Imagine, you can be sitting having a conversation with someone while your partner suckles you and it’s not a big deal! Or even a small deal. Really, I saw quite a bit of affection, but nothing to make us feel uncomfortable. Of course, we were not there late at night, the latest was one night about midnight (too exhausted from all of the athletic activity, and of course the mid-afternoon romantic activity. After a few days, he put me on rations - he said I was too laid back and relaxed!!! Fortunately that didn’t last). And oh my, the piercings! Ralph, that had to hurt! You, too, Kas. There were a few opportunities for extra-curricular activity, but I’m way too much in love with my baby to want anyone else, or to see him with anyone else. I’m glad, though, to have gotten the invitations!

I’m sure that there is something I missed. Will update via message board if I remember anything important. I’m going to try to keep the Hedo vibe alive in my life through the nude beach at Sandy Hook, maybe Sunny Rest in the Poconos for a weekend this summer, and Mobay restaurant in Perth Amboy for jerk chicken! And will always monitor the message board. Thanks to Denny and everyone on the message board. I was totally prepared for Hedo, and didn’t have to waste precious days getting used to it. Can’t wait to go back again.
