Kim, Cathy, Nikki - 07/99

This is a story of Kim, Cathy, and Nikki...

July 11, 1999 day one Left Richmond at 2:30am after 10hrs of work and no sleep. Flight from BWI 8:15am arrive in MoBay at 10:30am, still no sleep. Survived bus ride from HELL, arrived to HEDO by 12:30 pm, greeted by Shaka (crazy woman) room was not ready so we headed to lunch. Shaka came and got us around 1:30 and showed us to our room #1224 prude side ocean view. Now the trip really begins, we realize that we are in JAMAICA, (still no sleep going on 30hrs now). We decided to head to the ocean for a swim w/ in 15mins we were already offer some goodies (you know what I mean). Kim having been here before had warned us about that. Back to the room for shower and short nap (now going on 35hrs w/ no real sleep). We headed for dinner then off to the disco, finally crashing around 3:30am.

July 12, 1999 day two Up at 9:30, breakfast was great, then off to orientation w/ Marc. Then we meet up with Omar and he took us Kayaking around to this beautiful cove and by that time Nikki and I were exhausted, while Kim got off easy since Omar did most of the rowing, so I got smart on the way back and rode with Omar. Then back to the beach, Nikki decided to get her hair braided while Kim and I went back to the ocean to play. Then we were off to water ski, Nikki and I both got up (amazing that you could still see the bottom going that fast), while Kim decided it would be safer to hang out in the sandy bottom, only up to your knees, ocean and chat with Omar. Since today was the first real full day of ours, we now got to experience the "rain" of Jamaica...on and off but hard as hell for about 20 minutes. Back to the room, off to dinner--then the Disco--bed at 3am.

July 13, 1999 day three Snorkeling in the morning, make sure that you take a waterproof camera with you, the reef and fish were cool! Skip the afternoon, off to dinner--PJ NIGHT...and Battle of the Sexes--be prepared with all sorts of things--my friends came in real handy when Lewis asked for pierced parts, he also asked for a roll of toilet paper and a dildo--like I said be prepared. After dinner we sampled some Body Shots, the Tequila just isn't the same there...Duncan and Blayde (our Canadian friends) participated in that game-- The disco was a blast that night--but never have I seen so much metal and chains in my life, but it sure was an experience--now Nikki and I being Hedo virgins and all just had to check out the Nude side, and what a better night than one where you are already half naked and in public?? We went over with Blayde and Duncan--it was interesting, but I wouldn't recommend staying in the hot tub for long, we mostly stayed in the cold Jacuzzi. That is where I met Bob(Bill) from New Jersey (Bob of course being his real name, but since he couldn't remember Kim's name the following morning-thus calling her Lisa-she decided to rename him Bill for the remaining days). Also, can I say that the hammocks on the nude side were just as much fun as the cold Jacuzzi--if you get my drift. Bed when the sun came up...

July 14, 1999 day four We started off with not enough sleep most days, and this was no exception--the sun was shining but soon came the clouds and the rain began--along with the games. Varying from sexual positions, to asking questions Hedo Style... but the rain has yet to cease--how 'bout a nap. VEGAS NIGHT--(girls night) and we looked good! The art auction was neat, beautiful paintings, but not something that you would expect to see at Hedo--after dinner Nikki and I decided to go to the "casino" but not in time for any chips--oh well--mingle. Off to the Disco-I don't think that we ever thought to dance to Who Let The Dogs Out in such nice dresses, but we did anyway...for myself another late night, to sum it up--the bird sanctuary was an eventful place.

July 15, 1999 day five Snorkeling again in the am, an anchor and a cannon were at this reef, and the guide showed us some sea creatures. Returning back to shore, lunchtime entertainment--Bodies in Motion--can I just say that I have never seen so many jaws on the floor when Shaka and Melanie licked chocolate sauce off the winner!!?? Kim and I just enjoyed the view...while Nikki took pictures. TOGA NIGHT -- how do people figure to tie twin sheets in such ways--imagine a G-string Toga??!! From lunch until dinner--I spent most of the time trying to tie that damn twin sheet, covering as much as possible, and boring Kim and Nikki to sleep--Nikki and I actually ended up on stage at dinner for most Virginal toga--HA! There was everything from fully covered to the chicken G-string wearing a toga--had to be there! Talent show was entertaining, juggling, jokes, singing, and bending, all in all good dinner. Back to the room, would have gone directly to the Disco, but the toga was just not going to be joining us there! Spent the majority of the night dancing as usual, Kim and I had another long and eventful night bringing up the sun--again!

July 16, 1999 day six Jamaica Day on the Beach began slow but Sunny--we began the day with the shops, and a roaring day of checkers--but mostly just relaxation--we needed it by this time! Dinner entertainment was interesting the circus staff showed us a double trapeze, juggling, and fire blowing, while another performer in the show gave a new meaning to the word "ragdoll". Down to the beach for the rest of the show, flying trapeze, bonfire and games-BEWARE of the basin game, dizziness doesn't explain it, and my battle wounds are still healing. Kim and I had fun just taking pictures, and oh are they fun to explain, especially the sex position game (not fun on sand), definitely not the pics that you would show to your grandchildren. Onto the disco after a quick sand removal shower, Kim and I closed it down with Bob(Bill), and Lou. Late night again, seeings that the disco doesn't close until 5am.

July 17, 1999 day seven Two hours of sleep, Kim and I ventured out early for the prize swap-trapeze-and laying out--then into town--the Pickled Parrot was neat Nikki and Blayde dared the waterslide, and Nikki did the rope swing--onto Rick's Cafe, again Blayde and Nikki dared the 30ft cliff while Kim and I kept our feet firmly planted on the ground. The sunset was beautiful, and the pics don't ever do it justice. At the resort Casual Elegance was the theme, dinner was good, but luckily it was an early night, I think bed was at 2am.

July 18, 1999 day eight Last day, and make sure that you get to the Air Jamaica desk early, cause the line will take up your entire day. Shaka was in the lobby greeting Hedo Virgins--hope that they had as much fun as we did--the ride back to MoBay was calm--was the driver in training?? All in all, great trip--I would love to return and plan to soon!! We all had a blast, I would recommend this resort for the very open minded, and young at heart no matter how old you are.
