April 24 - May 1, 1999: We decided to take a trip for our 7th anniversary, and chose Hedonism II as our destination after searching for a place that was all-inclusive. We booked our first trip to Hedo about 6 months in advance and started to count down the days that would lead to paradise. Then a week before take-off, we heard the news of the uprisings in Jamaica and started to worry whether we would have to postpone. We started to monitor the local Jamaican newspaper on-line and found things were starting to settle down, so we thought we'd go as planned, thinking the worst thing that could happen would be to get stranded there for longer than planned, but thought that wouldn't be so bad... so off we went! The flight down was no problem, mon... went thru customs fine, took the shuttle bus where we met Terry and Susie from columbus and Dan from P-burgh... made a few pit-stops along the way for Red Stripe and in case anyone on board wanted any of the local greenery... got to Hedo 2 1/2 hrs. later and checked in with no problem (it must have been because we were staying on the prude side... our first mistake). Our second mistake was the fact we had brought socks and underwear for every day, which we never wore. We arrived Sat. afternoon and unpacked, took a tour of the prude side, went to orientation, had dinner, a few drinks, then mustered up the nerve to go to the nude hot-tub since it was dark outside. Sunday, we hung out at the prude beach for awhile, went on our first snorkeling cruise, then joined Terry and Susie at Pastafari's for our anniversary dinner. Later, it was back to the nude hot-tub. Monday, we went snorkeling again and then finally went to the nude pool for the first time during the day. We were kind of nervous for the first minute or two, but that went away and we relaxed at the bar and had a few drinks (quite a few, i think). It started to pour down rain, so we all crowded under the roof for awhile till we heard thunder. At that point, we got out of the pool, hung for awhile (no pun intended) then walked back to our prude-side room in the pouring rain making a pit-stop at the tree bar for our usual round of vodka slush and ting with beefeaters. Went back to the room and took a long nap, then up for dinner, then back to bed. Our stomachs were starting to feel a little upset, and would continue to do so, off and on, for the remainder of the trip. Tuesday was spent shopping at the little market just outside the gates of Hedo then back to the nude pool for more vodka slush and beefeaters and ting. Back to the room for a nap to rest up for the p.j. party. Went to the party and had a great time, despite the heat and loud music. Left the disco for a dip in the pool to cool off then went back for a few more before bed. Wednesday, we decided to do the island cruise, which was fun (from what i can remember) but will never do again as it took a few days to recover! My wife says we went to the nude pool for awhile afterwards, but I was in a daze. We ended up sleeping thru casino night, got up just in time for dinner, then back to bed. Thursday, we got up and went to the nude side for nude rock painting, then back to the pool, met a group of great people including Forrest and Lynn, Steve and Judy, and Nick and Beth. Joni wanted me to enter the "best buns" contest, but i agreed only if she was one of the judges. It was hilarious... especially when these two girls walked up the steps in front of us guys standing there, and turned beet-red when they realized they were in front of a dozen guys, hanging in all their glory! My wife met Conni, who was a fellow judge, and they quickly became friends. Afterwards, we were asked to join our new group of friends for champaigne and cajun shrimp!... it was awesome... thanks again for inviting us!!! We decided to play some nude volleyball while Joni and Lynn were the nude cheerleaders... what a blast!!...then it was back to the room for a nap, and up for toga nite. Having missed the toga-tying demo, Joni got some help from the girl next door while I just winged it. I still think Nick and Beth should have won best-couple... you guys looked great!... It was kinda hot in the d-room, so we decided to lose the togas and go for a dip in the prude pool thinking others would follow... no one did, tho, so off to the hot-tub, then bed. Friday was another snorkeling trip, then back to the pool for more drinks and conversation with Ben and Conni, Kent and Oskar, Bob and Peggy, Forrest and Lynn, Nick and Beth, and Steve and Judy... then it was time for more volleyball!!!! We played a couple of awesome games with Joni cheering us on from the sidelines in all her naked-ness...Ohhh what fun!!!... then it was off to Pastafari's for dinner, where we said our good-byes to some of our new friends, then we met up with Ben and Conni at Veronica's for more drinks, shots, and singing... then off to the hot-tub for one last dip :o( Saturday, we got up, had breakfast, and jumped on the shuttle bus. Feeling blue while waiting to leave, Ben and Conni surprised us by coming to the bus for one last good-bye and lifting our spirits for the ride to Mo-bay... Leaving the grounds, we were mooned by a group of people, which made us smile even more! We even decided to make the plane ride home something we will never forget... we officially joined the mile-high club!!! This trip is one we will never forget and have already started to plan another trip back sometime next year! We have many fond memories including the room with its mirrors, the beautiful ocean, all the plants and flowers, the food, the drinks, volleyball, nude rock painting, the bartenders and staff, but most of all... all the wonderful people we met!!! Thanks Denny for this forum, I only wish we would have found this site BEFORE we went to Hedo, since there is alot of valuable info on here, and it is great to read the stories from other people who have experienced true HEDONISM!!! n
