Our first evening we arrived our luggage got lost. So, to take our minds off our luggage problem we went and got drunk with our new friends John and Andy. We also looked around the resort and adjusted to the nude people!! It was a shock seeing a nude man sitting at a picnic table outside our door, were from Oklahoma and things like that just don't happen in our small town!!
Day two we wised up and bought swimsuits, went to the beach and began drinking our sorrows of lost luggage away! That evening we received our luggage at around 8:30p.m. and had to go get a few drinks for a celebration of the luggage!! I unfortunately had a few too many, played shuffle board (sort of), got Brian and I lost from our room, and fell down giving myself two beautiful bruises that lasted the rest of the week.
Day three we began at the beach after we woke up around noon or one, hung out in our swimsuits at the prude beach (well, he wore his swimsuit!), then decided to take a taxi to go shopping and to Rick's for the sunset. When we arrived to Rick's the crew from Hedo was just leaving so not only did we see the sun set, we saw many a full moon!!! That night I fell asleep in the taxi and when we returned to the resort we stayed in our room the rest of the night...tried to go to sleep early!!
Day four we tried to wake early to take scuba lessons...didn't happen. We slept in until around 11:00 when we hit the beach. Later during the day we went shopping, we took the taxi again just because we liked our taxi driver so well!!! Oddly, the taxi driver, showed us the best places to buy things for everybody at home, and we also made a stop at Marguarittaville. That was our last night at Hedo...It was also the PJ Party night, so we went all out!! We began the night with juggling lessons, then during the battle of the sexes this small town girl removed her panties at the dinner table-he put them in his mouth and ran to the stage to score points for the men!!! (Definitely something that doesn't happen at home!!) Later I shocked him even more with the tiny teddy with thigh highs, garter, and black high heels I wore to the PJ Party...he wore flannel pants, tank top, and a Santa hat! The PJ party was indescribable!!! I went back to the room to get my camera, I just had to have a picture, that was something like I had never seen before!!
Day five we checked out, had good-bye lunch with our new friends, and bought tee-shirts to take home.
The next day when I woke up I couldn't hold back the tears, I wanted to be back at hedo where I could wake up, grab a pina-colada, and lounge on the beach...not get up freezing in Oklahoma, put on a sweatshirt and jeans and a jacket, and go to work!!!
I am all ready for next year to get here...the sooner the better!!
