Grand Lido Braco

The grounds surrounding the buildings are filled with various foliage. The rooms are situated far enough away from the central village so as not to be affected by any noise or crowds.

The fountain in the center of the main village area is a common meeting place. Streets extend in four directions and take you to the various restaurants, shops, bars, disco, main office and other areas.

The main beach is about 2000' long and is very sandy. Lounge chairs and floats are provided. The beachfront rooms are about 100' off the beach. You can walk out of the first floor rooms directly to the beach.

The existing nude beach is in the far distance. It has its own hot tub, bar, and grill. If you are in the last 2 beachfront buildings, you can walk right out to the nude beach. Once the new nude addition is open, the existing nude beach will revert back to a textile beach.

Thought the beach is very sandy, there are some rocks in the water. A pair of water shoes comes in handy. This is rather common along the north shore of the island.

The main pool is quite large. It has a swim up bar and a volleyball area. At the far left, you can see a walking bridge which crosses the pool.

In the rear center of this photo is the main hot tub. It is surrounded by trees and vegitation.

This is a typical room in the existing part of the resort. It is very spacious. It included a phone, TV, and a radio/CD player. It also had a hair drier and iron/ironing board. The air conditioning was very good and a ceiling fan provided air circulation.

The ground floor rooms have a patio in the back. The upper floors have balconies.

The is the new nude beach, still under construction. The stick like features will be shade umbrellas with thatched roofs.

The building on the left is one of the new buildings on the nude side. Some of the rooms will be suites with kitchenettes. All rooms in this new area are beachfront.

The new nude pool is over 220' long. It is the largest in Jamaica. From this end of the pool, you can enter via a sloping beach-like entry.

On the left is the nude swim up bar. I was told that there were 21 stools, but I didn't count them. Right behind this bar is another large bar area. It looked like that area might also be serving food.

There is a lot of area for sunning around the nude pool area. This will be a very popular place.
